Joaquim Jesus Santos
Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)

Joaquim Santos has been the CCO of Oni Communications since October 2007.

Before joining Oni, he held the position of Deputy Chairman of Field Services Sales for the EMEA NEWS region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) at SAP AG.

Prior to this, he had been Director-General of SAP Portugal, a position where he was responsible for the growth and business development of the Portuguese subsidiary. At SAP AG, he also held the positions of Director of Indirect Sales and Deputy Director-General.

Before joining SAP, he was Director of Indirect Sales of Informix Software Ibérica, as well as Sales Director of the Industry and Public Sector Unit.

Xavier Rodríguez-Martín
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Xavier Rodríguez-Martín has been the CEO of Oni Communications since February 2007.
A staff member of Oni since the start-up of the company's activity, over the last few years he held the position of CTO (Chief Technical Officer).

Before joining Oni, Xavier Rodriguez was part of the Spanish group Telefónica, SA, where he held the position of Director-General of Telefónica Sistemas, in Peru. Prior to the Peru assignment, he was Head of the Group of International Operators and Manager of Special Projects of the Spanish operator.

Between 1994 and 1995, he was Director of Marketing at DASAR, Inc, in Palo Alto, California. Being of Catalan origin, Xavier Rodriguez is proud to have been part of the Organising Committee for the Olympic Games of Barcelona’92, where he was in charge of the Press and TV Operations Department.

Xavier Rodríguez-Martín is a Telecommunications Engineer, graduated in Economics and Finance at the ESADE Business School of Barcelona and holds an MBA from the IMD Business School, of Lausanne, in Switzerland. He also holds an Olympic Certificate of Merit issued by the IOC.

Rui Sequeira Martins
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Rui Sequeira Martins has been the CFO of Oni Communications since February 2007.

Rui Sequeira Martins took on the position of CFO after a period of a year and a half which he dedicated to consultancy in mergers and acquisitions for large companies.

Prior to this and over 5 years, he was Adviser to the Executive Board of ONI SGPS in the area of Financial and Strategic Planning and, at the same time, Director of the Broad Band Business Unit of ONITELECOM (marketing, sales to residences and SMEs, customer service and provision). He had previously been Director of Planning and Strategic Marketing of ONITELECOM.

Before entering ONI, he was Adviser to the Board of Directors of EDP Águas and part of the Strategic Planning and Investor Relations Department of EDP S.A..

Rui Sequeira Martins is graduated in Management at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and holds an MBA from AESE / IESE Universidad de Navarra, Spain.
