VMWARE 2025 LICENSES
Following the acquisition of VMware by the US-based technology company Broadcom Inc., our supplier has informed us that, starting in May 2024, the prices of their licences will increase by approximately 150%.
To minimise the impact of this price increase, we have decided to absorb this rise during the 2024 financial year. However, we are compelled to pass on these increases starting from 1 January 2025. Consequently, VMware licences will be priced at €15/month/core (£16 / COP 68,000).
Until 31 December 2024, the approximate cost per VMware licence per core was €5/month/core (£5.25 / COP 22,692). Therefore, the new pricing model will result in an increase of approximately €10 (£10.5 / COP 45,381) per core contracted in each cloud solution.
